The Green Knight has finally hit theaters and has been earning a considerable amount of acclaim. The movie has been long overdue because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and while it’s something that has drawn moviegoers back to theaters, the rise of the recent Delta variant has given plenty of people pause.

In light of that, those who’ve opted to skip theaters will have an opportunity to see the film online: A24 has announced that it will be streaming the movie on its platform for a single night on August 18th.

A24 Screening Room is the studio’s “virtual cinema platform” that it’s used to stream various films over the years. There are some caveats to its release of The Green Knight: The screening is only open to US viewers, and you’ll need to create an account on the platform. Once you buy your ticket, you’ll only have a short window in which to actually watch the film: That window starts at 9PM eastern time, and once you start the film, you’ll have a four-hour window in which to finish the movie.

Admission for the screening is now available, and it runs $20 a ticket. (The site also provides a handy list of system and technical requirements should you want to stream it to your TV.)

A screening like this looks as though it’s worth treating like any movie night: block off a couple of hours, turn off your phone, and enjoy.
